You’ve probably noticed that the current release pace is slower than usual. I am really sorry for that, but it is beyond my control. Some things in real life currently make it impossible to go any faster. Don’t be alarmed though. Both Rascal and Lucy-May will see the finish line! – Peter

Lucy-May project status: Exciting News!
Exciting news for those of you who are eagerly awaiting new episodes of Lucy-May of the Southern Rainbow! First news is that our translator Wild Tiger Girl completed her translation of the Spanish fansub, so all 50 episodes now have a translation! 60% of those files have been timed by Hugo & Kai and have received a Spanish to English check by Cyber Zero. As you all know, finished files were waiting for a Japanese to English TLC, ever since I was forced to quit the task due to a sudden shortage of time. Fellow fansubber Perevodildo, who’s also a member of a group called The Sorcery Party, contacted us and offered to do the TLC, for which we are really grateful. This means that this project will become a joint under [south wind-sorcery]. South Wind Subs will handle releases. So look forward to new episodes! – Peter
Lucy-May project status Apr 2023
An update again, to let you know we haven’t forgotten or given up on our project Lucy-May of the Southern Rainbow! Production is ongoing: translation of a Spanish script (based on JP audio), timing and TLC (Spanish to English). The below chart shows the progress made so far. The last step (the ‘edit’: a TLC against Japanese audio, edit of lines + release), much to my regret, is currently paused due to personal circumstances. That step will be resumed after batch release of Raccoon Rascal. However, if you are proficient in JP & EN and you’re confident you can do the edit for us: please contact me, and we might speed up! – Peter
Lucy-May project status Jan 2023
The translation of a Spanish script (based on JP audio), timing and TLC (Spanish to English) is ongoing. The chart shows the progress for each task (eps. done). Edit & release (last column) have been temporarily paused due to personal circumstances. These tasks will be resumed after batch release of Raccoon Rascal. It may be possible to resume faster IF we can find a skilled person who can do the edit for us, which in fact is a TLC from JP to EN and edit of any error lines. If you are confident you are up for it, please get in touch! – Peter
Postponement of Lucy-May releases
When we started our project Lucy-May of the Southern Rainbow, I had enough spare time to handle final end checks and edits of this project plus most of the production of the already started series Raccoon Rascal. However, lately there are things going on in my life that take up much time and energy, and I just cannot handle two projects at the same time anymore, and guarantee quality, without overburdening myself. Therefore, I have decided to postpone further releases of our latest project Lucy-May and focus only on Rascal for now. I am aware that this might be a big disappointment for some of you and I offer my apologies for this, but I don’t see another way. To be clear: we’re not dropping the Lucy-May project, translation/TLC/timing efforts will continue, releases will resume later. – Peter
Old Castle new partner for Wandering Girl Nell
This post is to announce that Old Castle will be taking over TLC editing for Wandering Girl Nell, starting from ep. 17. A big thanks to Old Castle for stepping in, and helping us put into final form the remaining 10 episodes of the series! We also like to express our thanks here to our parting TLC editor GANGO for the time and effort invested in the first 16 episodes and a job well done. Stick with us for more ‘Nell’ !

Upcoming smaller Fables of the Green Forest
Our current project with Old Castle will see batch release around August 2021.
Soon after, we’ll release a 2nd batch with Kirion RAW for those of you who prefer smaller files.
Subs-only available now
We noticed that some of you were asking for subs-only packages or compiling them. We’ve published subs-only for all completed projects now and will do so for every future batch.
Spaceship Sagittarius v2 ep & batch
During assembly of our subs-only packages, we found and corrected an error in the RO sub of ep 39. We’ve made an mkv v2 and (for those who don’t have the series yet) batch v2.
Japanese translator

Workshop update 2021
In this post I would like to give an overview of this year’s projects.
- Wandering Girl Nell:
Our partner GANGO expects to complete TLC edits of remaining ep. 13-26 before the end of the year. I will do a last check & edit as I receive each ep. My goal is to release shortly after I receive. - Fables of the Green Forest:
Old Castle and South Wind Subs have prepared subs in 4 languages. OC, who handles the release, is keeping to a weekly release schedule, meaning batch is expected around the 23rd of August. - The Attic – page:
Our site’s page dedicated to our predecessor group still needs to be completed by adding ‘Heidi’ and ‘Future Boy Conan’ in Romanian. Fellow group member Kai is not available to work on this right now, so current status is delayed. - New project:
Number 1 priority is Nell now. When I’m not working on that project, I’ll explore options for a new project. If you want to help with the creation of subs and think your skills could be useful: just Contact me!
